There are several other top class accommodations in the Whitsunday Islands, including those on Daydream Island, which is closer to the mainland and a short boat trip from Airlie Beach and Shute Harbor. The Daydream Island Resort is well known in the region and comes with a health spa and good access to beaches and hiking trails. Just south of Daydream is South Molle Island, while south again is Long Island which has good family-friendly resorts, including Peppers Palm Bay and Club Crocodile resort.
